Prince Charles suggests planting hedges to remember people killed by Covid

Prince Charles has suggested that avenues of hedgerows and trees could be planted across the country to commemorate those who have died during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Prince of Wales outlined the idea in an article written for Country Life magazine to mark his 73rd birthday on Sunday. The heir to the throne highlighted the environmental importance of hedgerows as ‘the country’s single biggest nature reserve’.
