White phosphorus bombs
White phosphorus munitions are weapons that use one of the common allotropes of the chemical element phosphorus. White phosphorus is used in smoke, illumination, and incendiary munitions, and is commonly the burning element of tracer ammunition.

Recently, Palestine accused Israel of using White phosphorus bombs in the Gaza Strip. Earlier, Israel was also accused of conducting such attacks on Gaza by the Human Rights Watch.

White phosphorus burns in air and causes severe burns upon contact with skin or eyes. White phosphorus smoke will also cause eye and respiratory tract irritation.
