Birmingham headlines 4 October: Second man named after being charged over stabbing outside college in Great Barr

A second man was charged after a teenager was stabbed outside James Watt College in Great Barr last week. Rion Soloman, aged 19, has been charged with wounding and violent disorder. Another 19-year-old man has previously been charged in relation to the incident.

Two boys, aged 14 and 16, have been arrested on suspicion of nine counts of robbery or attempted robbery. Police were alerted to a number of delivery drivers being threatened or assaulted at knifepoint for their belongings across Sandwell last month. They have since been released on bail.
