Taiwan Aims To Raise Smartphone Recycling Rate to 15%

Taiwan's Environment Ministry has set out its plans to raise the smartphone recycling rate to 15% by 2025. Materials like precious metals can be salvaged from electronic waste, but only a fraction of the millions of smartphones owned by people in Taiwan are currently recycled.
