Kraft Heinz recalls over 83,000 cases of individually wrapped Kraft Singles American cheese slices due to a potential choking hazard. The company discovered that a manufacturing issue could cause a film to remain on the cheese slice after it had been removed from the wrapper. The recall affects 16-ounce Kraft Singles American Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product with a "Best When Used By" date between Jan. 10, 2024, and Jan. 27, 2024. Three-pound multipacks of Kraft Singles American Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product with a "Best When Used By" date between Jan. 9, 2024, and Jan. 13, 2024, are also included in the recall. Consumers who purchased the affected Kraft Singles should not eat them but return the product to the store where they originally purchased them for a full refund or replacement.
