The popular clothing store The Children’s Place has issued a recall for infant snowsuits said to present a choking hazard.

The popular clothing store 'The Children's Place' has issued a recall for infant snowsuits said to present a choking hazard, reports People magazine. While no injury complaints have been filed, the retailer says that it has received a report of a metal snap coming loose.  The snowsuits being recalled are style numbers 2111187 and 2111188. An alert from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission notes, "The style number is printed on a label sewn in to the side seam," and describes the items as having "matching print hoods with small ears, detachable mittens and a zipper down the front of the suit covered with a fabric snap flap at the chest."  There are three patterns: a white garment with colored flowers, a pink one with ladybugs, and a pale pink version that has a heart pattern on its sleeve.  People who have purchased the suits described are urged to return them to the store or through the store's website for a full refund.
