The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), a convergence of winds from the northern and southern hemispheres where rain-bearing clouds form, will continue to bring rain showers to parts of the country in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
