Challenging waves from the Atlantic Ocean breach the deck of cargo ship

Captured in this video is a sight that might be frightening for some, awe-inspiring for some, and both for the rest!
It shows a cargo ship traversing the Atlantic Ocean in the early morning hours when it gets confronted by troublesome waves, which cause the water to find its way onto the deck.
Interestingly, there is neither pitching (the up-and-down movement of a boat's front and back as a result of waves) nor rolling (the side-to-side tilt forced by waves or wind), which ends up surprising the filmer, Oleksandr Pryk.
