Supporters of the Move Forward Party gathered at the Kiakkai administrative centre to show support for the party’s sole candidate for PM, Pita Limjaroenrat, during the vote to pick Thailand’s 30th PM.

The supporters, who are in a heightened state of anxiety, said they will not blockade the parliament building and would not move away from the centre to stage a protest.

Instead, they are fully engaged in the live voting via a large screen.
