The building is believed to be derelict, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed.

Next, Police Scotland has revealed a 13-year-old was among the 27 people arrested at TRNSMT festival.

The music event saw the likes of Pulp, the 1975 and Sam Fender headline at Glasgow Green.

Arrests were made concerning assault, drug offences, disorder, and breach of the peace.

And in other news, Scotland’s largest craft beer festival is returning for 2023, but will now be held in Glasgow’s Clyde Rooms in September.

The event launched in Edinburgh’s Murrayfield last year and was hailed a massive success.

On bringing the festival to Glasgow, a spokesperson said the Clyde Rooms at Edmiston House is a superb modern event space with ground floor access, and just a short walk from the tube.
