Liberal Senator David Van says he's shocked and shattered by a sexual assault allegation made against him by Independent Lidia Thorpe in the Senate yesterday. The allegation made by Senator Thorpe under Parliamentary privilege has since been withdrawn, but the Victorian Independent Senator is expected to make a statement on the matter later today.
