Residents of Bengaluru witnessed heavy rainfall on June 12. Heavy downpour led to severe flooding, turning streets into rivers. Varthur recorded 60 mm of rain, reported NDTV. Bellandur lake, Hallenayakanahalli, Varthur lakes overflowed. Many Twitter users shared visuals of the flooded streets. Traffic jams were reported at many places.
