Government funding boost to help combat dangerous netting

The Federal Government is pledging 15-million dollars to tackle abandoned and lost fishing gear or ghost nets which are a threat to marine wildlife. Land rangers in the gulf of Carpentaria are using their funding to clear neighbouring oceans.
