00:02 Hi guys, welcome back to my channel.
00:24 I'm excited today 'cause I'm gonna be doing the eye look
00:26 that I did for my Valentine's Day themed English muffins.
00:30 So I know this has been highly requested
00:32 and a lot of girls have been wanting to learn
00:33 how to do this eye look.
00:34 It's a very fun and flirty date night
00:37 or going out on the town look that I think is just,
00:40 it's not too heavy but it's still a good,
00:42 like beautiful light and smoke look.
00:45 So it's really great and very versatile.
00:47 I did just a few little things differently
00:49 than I did for my Valentine's Day tutorial.
00:51 This is a nude lip and just to give more emphasis
00:55 on the eyes 'cause today is just the eyes
00:57 and did the contour a little bit different.
00:58 But first off, I wanna say thank y'all so much
01:01 for all the love that I received in my previous video
01:04 for my first makeup tutorial.
01:06 It was very nerve-wracking and I was excited
01:10 and just to hear so many girls loving the video,
01:12 already trying out the look, it just warms my heart so much
01:15 and I'm so excited to keep pumping out
01:17 more makeup tutorials if y'all want me to.
01:19 So make sure to comment below
01:21 if you want me to keep doing makeup tutorials
01:23 and I can do hair tutorials
01:24 and all kinds of different stuff.
01:25 So enough talking now, let's get on to the makeup tutorial.
01:29 Now once we wash the face, we're gonna go in
01:31 and moisturize everything so that everything
01:33 will not get cakey or dry patches or any flakes or anything.
01:37 So we really go in with this Imberlis
01:39 which is amazing triple threat.
01:41 It's a moisturizer, a primer,
01:43 and it fills in all those lines.
01:45 But I make sure when I apply it,
01:47 I pat it onto my face, I don't rub it on.
01:49 So that way it fills in all the wrinkles
01:51 I have on my forehead and around my eyes
01:53 so that way none of the makeup that I put on
01:55 will ever get stuck in there.
01:57 Next we're gonna go in with Scotch Tape.
01:58 Now I know it sounds really weird, but just trust me on it.
02:01 It's actually a trick that I learned
02:03 from a lot of top makeup artists
02:05 that creates a beautiful winged eyeliner effect
02:08 without getting eyeshadow all over the place.
02:10 Now you wanna make sure that you line both eyes up correctly
02:14 so that you don't have like one crooked eye,
02:17 one winged eyeliner too high or too low
02:20 'cause then it'll look weird.
02:21 But a good general rule of thumb
02:23 is to line the end of your eye with the end of your brow.
02:25 Just make sure you line it up
02:26 and it'll all be looking out great and fabulous at the end.
02:29 But you'll just have to wait and see.
02:31 Next we're gonna go in with my
02:32 MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW20.
02:35 And we're gonna use my beauty blender to set the eye.
02:39 So I love to use this as a primer for my eye.
02:42 It's really great at covering up all the blood vessels
02:44 everyone has on their eyelid
02:45 and really creating a clean base for us to work with.
02:48 Next we're gonna go in with my Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Palette
02:51 in the colors Creme Brulee and Peach Smoothie.
02:53 I'm going in with my Sigma E40 brush,
02:56 kind of using a windshield wiper motion,
02:58 just getting the top of that lid
03:00 and setting that base color.
03:02 So we really wanna create a nice blended look and effect.
03:05 So these two colors together
03:07 create a really good neutral base for me to start with.
03:10 Now a really great trick that I learned
03:12 is that the bigger the brush,
03:14 the higher it'll go up on the lid.
03:16 And then the smaller the brush,
03:17 the closer it will go down on the lid.
03:19 This is a great rule,
03:20 especially if you have hooded eyes like me
03:23 and it's really hard to see that work in detail.
03:25 I start with this big fluffy brush
03:26 and you'll start to see my brushes get smaller
03:29 as I get closer to the lid, as I get more precise.
03:32 Next we're gonna go with my MAC 217 brush
03:38 back into my Makeup Geek Palette
03:40 and use the colors Cocoa Bear and Bitten.
03:43 We're gonna take that brush
03:44 and dab the inner and outer corner of my eyes,
03:47 but not the middle.
03:49 I like to go in very light at first
03:51 just to make sure that I don't come in too heavy
03:53 with the colors with eyeshadows
03:54 'cause I tend to have a heavy hand.
03:57 And so I make sure I go back in with a clean brush
04:00 and I blend those two sides again
04:02 and see how I'm going back in again, adding that color
04:04 just to really make it clean and precise.
04:07 And then I'm gonna go back in with a clean brush again
04:10 and blend those two right at the top in that arch.
04:13 But I'm still gonna leave the lid open.
04:14 Also, I wanna give a quick shout out to my sister Brooke.
04:17 She helped me pick out all of these MAC brushes
04:19 and she basically never gave up on me
04:21 in trying to learn makeup.
04:22 So thank you, sis, for always believing in me.
04:24 Love you.
04:25 Now, you'll probably notice on this eye,
04:27 I actually cannot lift the inner corner of my eyebrow.
04:31 I was actually in an accident in high school.
04:33 A drunk driver hit my brother's car
04:35 and actually split open my forehead.
04:37 So I have a scar right above my eyelid
04:39 and it goes and arches in my forehead.
04:41 So I'm not actually able to lift
04:43 the inner corner of my eyebrows.
04:45 Next, we're gonna go in with my Makeup Geek Insomnia pigment
04:49 and all of her pigments are just so beautiful
04:51 and jaw-dropping, like I'm obsessed with them.
04:54 Then I'm gonna go in with my MAC 242 brush
04:56 and my Max Fix Plus spray and spray my 242 brush.
05:00 That will help pick up that pigment
05:01 and keep it from flying all over
05:03 and just really helps, makes the color a lot more brighter
05:05 and more vibrant on the eyelid.
05:07 And this is a really great trick
05:08 that you can use with any eyeshadow.
05:10 Also, tear drops work just as well.
05:15 Now, another great tip for those who have hooded eyes like me
05:18 is to take the pigment higher than your lid.
05:21 So even when my eyes are up
05:23 and you're looking at me straight ahead,
05:25 you can still see that pigment on my eyelid
05:27 because if I didn't, then every time I had my eyes open,
05:29 we'd just never see all that artwork.
05:31 So I just take it up a little bit higher
05:33 and then to open up my eyes,
05:35 I make sure it goes pointed up
05:36 into an angle with the edges.
05:38 Next, we're gonna go with my MAC 219 brush.
05:41 Really, you can use any kind of pencil brush will do.
05:43 I'm gonna use the colors Burlesque from Makeup Geek
05:46 and Beautymark from Anastasia
05:48 and just mix those two together
05:50 and then just come into those corners of the eye.
05:52 You see how it really helps open up the eyes
05:55 and I'm just making sure that it matches up
05:56 with the other pigment that I just used in Insomnia.
05:59 But you see how it just makes my eye look bigger
06:01 automatically just by doing that.
06:03 And what's great about the tape is that when I take it off,
06:07 it's gonna look so sharp and so precise and beautiful.
06:10 Right now, it's just gonna look like a big hot mess
06:12 and that's okay.
06:13 Eye makeup was like my weakest point
06:18 in any part of learning how to do makeup.
06:20 So I can learn how to do it,
06:22 y'all can definitely learn how to do it.
06:23 And now I'm gonna go back in with my MAC 217 brush
06:26 that I used to help clean out the colors
06:28 Bitten and Cocoa Bear
06:29 and I'm just gonna help blend out that edge
06:32 so that way it doesn't look so harsh.
06:33 And really, this is a process where it looks like
06:35 like I'm doing something wrong
06:36 but it actually means I'm doing something right.
06:38 So I'm just going back in
06:40 and just blending out the outer sides.
06:42 And then we're gonna come in
06:43 with one of my favorite products, Too Faced glitter glue.
06:46 This stuff is the best stuff hands down
06:49 to apply glitter onto your lid.
06:51 So definitely get it.
06:52 And then I'm just gonna take a little bit
06:53 and dab it on all the places
06:56 where I put the insomnia pigment.
06:58 Just cover it up with that glitter glue.
07:00 Then I'm gonna use my MAC Reflex Transparent Teal Glitter
07:04 and just pick it up with my finger
07:06 and dab it onto my eyelid where we put all the glitter glue.
07:10 Now you don't have to bring it all the way
07:11 to the inner corner of the eyelid.
07:12 You can just put it on the top of the lid if you want.
07:14 But I'm really trying to help lift up my eyes
07:17 and open them up.
07:18 So this is a really good trick
07:19 for those who have small eyes like me.
07:21 Really wanna make 'em pop.
07:23 Now I'm gonna go back in with that pencil brush
07:25 that I have, the Burlesque and Beautymark.
07:28 And just really help clean up those edges on the side
07:31 and help really define it
07:33 'cause when you're messing around
07:34 with your finger on your eyelid
07:35 and especially when you have a small eyelid,
07:37 things can kinda get a little bit messed up.
07:39 So I'm just gonna help sharpen those edges
07:41 and help clean up everything.
07:43 Then we're gonna go in with my Anastasia Soft Gold Eyeshadow
07:46 using my 239 brush.
07:49 And I'm gonna mist that too with my Fix Plus
07:51 just to really make that pigment pop on that eye.
07:54 So I'm just coming in and just kinda lining
07:56 the outer top part of it
07:58 to just really help clean up the edges
08:01 and really define the brow bone.
08:03 I'm also gonna take that color
08:05 into the inner part of the eye,
08:07 into that tear duct to really help open it up even more
08:10 to make it look bigger.
08:11 Now my favorite part, we get to take off the tape
08:14 and see how it looks.
08:15 And voila, look how pretty that is.
08:19 Bet you're surprised how sharp and precise
08:21 and beautiful and fierce, I know,
08:23 I said fierce in the video. (laughs)
08:25 And let's do the other eye.
08:26 Oh, that looks so pretty.
08:28 And that's just a little bit on the edge
08:30 that just needs to be fixed,
08:31 but just look how pretty the eyes are.
08:33 But we're still not done yet.
08:35 So we're just taking a little bit of Ember Elise
08:37 on a Q-tip and just helping clean up those edges
08:39 because things happen with tape
08:40 and sometimes things get under it.
08:42 So it's a really good way to help clean up any mistakes
08:45 or any things you have to just really help sharpen
08:47 those lines and make them really stand out
08:49 and look fabulous.
08:50 Now I like to moisturize the area where I put the tape
08:53 to just really help give it some moisture
08:56 before we start putting on the rest of the makeup.
08:59 Now I'm gonna use the Giorgio Armani
09:00 Illuminist Silk Foundation.
09:01 And this time I'm going to use the Uzi Moran Illuminizer
09:04 and mix those two together.
09:05 And then I'm going to use my damp beauty blender
09:07 to press it across my face to set that foundation.
09:10 Now if you wanna learn how I do my foundation
09:13 and highlight and contour, just for a basic everyday,
09:16 just go check out the previous video I just did.
09:18 I will also attach a link below in the description box,
09:20 including a list of all the products
09:22 that I used in this video.
09:23 But now you see the difference between the previous video
09:26 where I just did the foundation and this illuminizer.
09:28 My skin just looks way more dewy and youthful,
09:30 which I just love.
09:32 But I tend to get oily, so I just have to be careful.
09:34 Making sure I set it real good with powder.
09:36 Then we're gonna come in with my MAC Prep and Prime
09:38 in the highlighter Light Boost.
09:40 And I'm going to blend that out with the beauty blender.
09:43 Now I'm taking you through these steps really quick
09:47 because I already did a video on how I do my basic
09:50 highlight and contour.
09:51 And if you really want to learn how to do
09:52 highlight and contouring, just kind of everyday,
09:54 starting out, I would totally go check out that video.
09:57 (upbeat music)
10:00 Now we're gonna go in with my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
10:03 in NW20.
10:04 And we're just gonna take a little bit of it,
10:06 put it on my hand and just dab it in all the places
10:09 that we just highlighted.
10:10 Next, we're gonna set the highlight area
10:12 with my Sigma F35 brush.
10:15 And we're going to set it with my MAC Pro Emphasize
10:18 and mixing it with my Anastasia Banana Powder.
10:20 Then I'm gonna come in with my Anastasia Brow Wiz in Auburn.
10:24 And I like this besides a dip brow
10:26 because it just gives a more light, natural effect,
10:28 having your eyebrows done and put together
10:30 without it looking like solid bricks.
10:32 So the dip brow, you just have to be careful with.
10:34 So this is a really good alternative
10:35 for those who want more of a natural eyebrow look.
10:38 Then I'm gonna come in with my
10:39 Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara.
10:41 This is another one of my favorite mascaras to use.
10:43 And today we're not gonna use like fake lashes
10:46 because I really want the eyes to pop,
10:48 for you really to see the color.
10:49 I mean, a lot of times when you put it eyes
10:51 and you put fake lashes on,
10:52 it tends to cover up all that work.
10:54 Then we're gonna come in with my MAC Liquid Last Liner
10:57 to line the top of the eyes.
10:58 And this is by far, hands down, my favorite liner to use.
11:02 'Cause I love stuff that's waterproof
11:04 that come rain or shine is not gonna move anywhere,
11:07 especially with my hooded eyes.
11:08 I just love being able to wear this for a track meet all day
11:11 and like knowing it's not gonna go anywhere.
11:13 Now we're gonna come back in with that soft gold eyeshadow
11:16 and just highlight the inner tear duct
11:18 of the bottom lash line.
11:19 Then we're gonna come in with my MAC 231 Brush
11:24 and we're going to use Bitten and Cocoa Bear
11:26 to line the rest of the bottom lash line
11:29 and just really take it in right into that soft gold
11:32 but not going in all the way, about like two thirds.
11:34 And then matching it up with that eyeshadow
11:36 that we did on the top lid.
11:37 Then we're gonna come in with my Morphe M431 Brush
11:42 and just blend out that bottom lash line
11:45 with the Cocoa Bear and Bitten
11:46 just to really make it look nice and soft and blended out.
11:49 Then we're gonna come in with my
11:50 Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner
11:53 in the color Alpine and line the inner tear duct.
11:55 And then I come a little bit out of that onto the lash line
11:58 just to really help open up my eyes a little bit more.
12:01 And I love it 'cause it just really does stay in
12:03 for a long time where a lot of times
12:04 when you put those little white liners
12:06 on the inside of your waterline,
12:08 those things are just gone within
12:09 a matter of a couple minutes.
12:11 Then I'm gonna take that mascara
12:13 and use it on the bottom lashes.
12:14 Then I'm gonna go in with my Anastasia Pro Pencil
12:17 in Base 1 and I'm going to highlight around my eyebrows.
12:21 This is a really cool trick to help lift your eyes up
12:24 and make 'em look bigger
12:25 and make those eyes really stand out and pop.
12:27 This is also really great in covering up blemishes.
12:30 So I always have this in my makeup bag
12:31 'cause it just does so many things.
12:33 Then we're gonna come in with my NARS brush
12:35 and we're gonna do some powder contouring.
12:37 There's so many things you can use with it.
12:39 I use it as a cream contour, I use it as a highlighter.
12:42 The options are just endless with this brush
12:45 and it just makes contouring so easy.
12:47 I'm using the color Havana by Anastasia
12:50 and this is a great universal color
12:51 that works with a lot of skin tones for contouring.
12:59 And I'm gonna come in with my Bobbi Brown foundation brush
13:02 and really any brush that looks like this will do.
13:05 And I'm just gonna use that Kevin Aucoin
13:07 that I used in my previous video
13:09 and I'm just gonna really help emphasize those cheekbones.
13:12 Then I'm gonna use my NARS blush in Outlaw
13:19 and I'm going to use my BH Cosmetic Blush brush
13:21 and I'm just going to go on the apples of the cheekbones
13:24 to really accentuate them.
13:26 You don't wanna go too heavy,
13:28 you just wanna make them just kind of pop and be lifted
13:30 and just look very supple.
13:32 Then we're gonna go in with the highlighter.
13:35 This is like one of my top three highlighters,
13:37 it's Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Beige
13:40 and I'm just using a Bdellium,
13:42 I don't know what brush it is,
13:43 but these are really great brushes too
13:45 if you're trying to get a good amount of brushes for cheap
13:48 that are good quality,
13:49 but I will find it out and link it below.
13:51 Then I'm gonna use my e.l.f. Lip Primer in Plumper
13:56 and first I'm going to plump my lips
13:58 and then I'm going to prime them.
14:00 This is like three bucks,
14:01 but this is a really cool tool
14:03 if you have trouble with lipsticks,
14:05 you wanna make them really blend and look fuller.
14:08 This is a really good product to use
14:09 and it will help make your colors pop on your lip.
14:12 Now I'm gonna use another one of Anastasia's Liquid Lip
14:15 and this is in Pure Hollywood
14:17 and it just came back in stock today on her website.
14:20 It's been sold out,
14:20 it's like the most popular liquid lip that she has,
14:23 but it's just a beautiful nude lip for any girl,
14:27 but I just bought another one today,
14:28 but don't tell my husband.
14:30 Then I'm gonna use Gerard Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Buttercup
14:34 and these lip glosses are so pretty
14:36 because they are so highly pigmented
14:38 that you don't even have to wear lipsticks underneath them,
14:41 but they also have like a little light
14:43 and a little mirror that comes with it,
14:44 which I love at nighttime when you're out and about
14:47 and you wanna touch up your makeup.
14:48 And we are done.
14:50 That is the final look.
14:53 (upbeat music)
14:55 And that's it for my date night eye look.
14:58 So I hope you'll like the video.

15:19 Bye.
15:19 (upbeat music)
15:22 I'm ready.
15:23 (upbeat music)
15:26 Yes.
15:29 (upbeat music)
15:32 (upbeat music)
