Kilat Beach and Batu Ferringhi beach in Penang Island Malaysia

This is a nice spot to picnic or walk on the beach. It is connected to a stretch of beaches right along the hotels. The island used to be nicknamed "Lover's island". Before the fisherman boats were here, it was a perfect picnic spot. The boats added to the prop for a scenic shot now.
Pleasantly clean and peaceful beach. There are little clams naturally scattered between the tides.

We like the soft sand and options to do water sports, along with the horse riding in the area too. Overall it’s one of the better beaches to be at, truly a hidden gem
