ISRO launches LVM3 rocket carrying 36 satellites

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on March 26 launched India’s largest LVM3 rocket carrying 36 satellites.

The launch took place from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.

LVM3 stands 43.5 meters tall and weighs 643 tons. The satellites will be slung into low earth orbit.

New Space India Limited (NSIL) has to launch 72 satellites in Low-Earth Orbits. The first set of 36 satellites for OneWeb Group company was launched on October 23, 2022.

The LVM3 has to its name five consecutive successful missions, including the Chandrayaan-2 mission.
