Flood evacuation order downgraded for parts of Cootamundra

An evacuation order has been downgraded for parts of Cootamundra in the south-west of NSW after heavy rain last night. Around 100 millimetres of rain has been recorded in the region in the last 24 hours, leading to significant river rises and flash flooding along Muttama Creek.
