There will be changes to journeys through New Street Station while engineers continue work on the concrete roof above the stations platforms. Platforms will need to be closed in pairs for four weeks at a time, starting with platforms 5 and 6 from Sunday 2 April.
The areas in Birmingham with the fewest trees has been revealed. Analysis by Friends of the Earth shows just 12.8% of England is currently covered by trees - stating that targets for tree planting must double by 2050. Digbeth tops the list, followed by Sparkhill North and Central Birmingham.
