The two Gorbals Boys statues that were reported as stolen have been located, abandoned on a railway embankment.

Police launched an investigation on Monday the 6th of February after two of the three bronze figures were reported missing from Cumberland Street.

It appears they were cut at the leg before being removed.

Next up, Glasgow City Council is planning to implement a city wide 20 miles per hour speed limit to boost road safety and encourage active travel.

This will be delivered over an eighteen month period and will support the city’s climate plan.

And in other news, Glasgow’s Silverburn shopping centre has banned dogs following a dog-friendly trial.

The retail hub announced on social media that they’d made the decision following a full review of customer and store feedback, and concluded that their human guests must be made priority .
