Police Scotland is undergoing allegations of criminality over its investigation into the death of charity cyclist Tony Parsons.

Caroline Muirhead, who handed in her then-boyfriend into the police after he confessed to the crimes, has lodged a number of complaints into the handling of the case, saying it has destroyed her life.

Next up, two historic high rise flat block in the Gorbals are set to be demolished due to fire safety risks.

An assessment by Glasgow City Council indicated the risk held by the buildings on Caledonia Road could only be permanently reduced by removing cladding and timber balconies.

A consultation then decided money would be better spent rehousing residents and funding new-build replacement housing.

And finally, iconic statues have been returned to Glasgow’s skyline as the theatre they belong to undergoes a refurbishment.

The four Greek figures have been reinstated on the roof of Gorbals’ Citizens Theatre which is due to reopen next summer.
