A Melbourne court's been told a notorious criminal managed to run a drug smuggling ring from inside a Victorian jail. Authorities thought the prisoner was phoning his lawyer up to 20 times a day but discovered the calls were being diverted to his girlfriend who was helping run the syndicate.
