In a bid to aid the people facing the harsh winter in Uttar Pradesh, the Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation is providing bonfire facilities in several places in the district. The authorities provided the facility in 47 places and are increasing the points based on the demand. The assistance is being provided in several areas including key places like bus stops, railway stations, and hospitals.
