Christmas spirit in Thetford has shown itself again after a hamper appeal to help the elderly, vulnerable and those that will have a difficult time over the festive period was completed for a third year.
Organised by marathon runner and fundraiser Melanie Furness, the appeal has seen people donate items from mince pies to Christmas cakes and hot water bottles to fleeces.
Reporter Kevin Hurst joined volunteers while the hampers were being packed and to spoke to Mel about the appeal and the help it has had from residents.
