This was the moment a Nevada mom found out that pulling off a surprise can be quite a challenging task.
This amusing video features Britanya Hanlon struggling to convince her daughter to listen to her and check out their neighbor's angry dog about to jump into their side yard.
Her daughter, however, decides to stay out of any kind of trouble, not knowing what's actually waiting for her in the side yard.
"Tried to surprise my daughter with a new puppy by asking her to go to the side yard to see the neighbor's dog jumping on the fence," the filmer said. "She argued with me that she didn’t want to bug the neighbor's dog and wouldn’t walk over where the puppy was hiding.
"Had to bribe her with ice cream to get her to cooperate to find her new puppy."
Her daughter's amazing reaction to meeting her new friend makes all the hassle prior to it worth it for Britanya.
