Carpet trader Deepak to contest in Pulai, Azmin Ali to defend Gombak

Controversial carpet trader Deepak Jaikishan was named as PN's candidate for Pulai in GE15.
The vocal critic of former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor did meet with Malaysiakini last week to confirm that he will join the political fray with an opposition coalition.
He is Gerakan's nominee for Pulai and will face incumbent MP Salahuddin Ayub of Amanah/Pakatan Harapan as well as three-term former Pulai MP Nor Jazlan Mohamed.
In last week's interview, Deepak told Malaysiakini that he would go all out to secure a seat in Parliament.
