Glencoe — Glencoe 1972 (UK, Progressive Rock)

A band that brought together good musicians - keyboardist Graham Maitland played on Five Day Rain and Les Fleur De Lys, guitarist John Turnbull on Arc, Heavy Jelly, Skip Bifferty, and bassist Norman Watt- Roy on the Greatest Show On Earth, and later became closely associated with the pub rock scene and even with The Selecter. The result is a good album of classic guitar-keyboard rock as well as progressive moments reminiscent of the early "Camel" or "Wishbone Ash" and "America"-esque chants, as well as quite rock and roll songs. The band accompanied Deep Purple on their 1972 UK tour.
