UP: 10 arrested for selling fake platelets in Prayagraj

The police in Uttar Pradesh arrested 10 people for selling fake platelets on October 21.
Briefing about the arrest, Prayagraj SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey informed that the accused used to sell fake platelets to the needy people.
"Acting on a tip-off, we arrested 10 people for selling fake platelets. These people used to take plasma from the blood banks, fill it in different pouches, put stickers of platelets and sell it to the needy people,” the SSP said.
