The police in Uttar Pradesh arrested 10 people for selling fake platelets on October 21. Briefing about the arrest, Prayagraj SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey on October 21 informed that the accused used to sell fake platelets to the needy people. “Acting on a tip-off, 10 people have been arrested for selling fake platelets. These people used to take plasma from the blood banks, fill it in different pouches, put stickers of platelets and sell it to the needy people,” the Prayagraj SSP said.
