Four new medications to be added to The Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme

The government has announced a 787 million dollar cut to the cost of pharmaceutical benefit scheme listed medications ahead of their budget on Tuesday. The announcement is in line with the government's election promise to improve healthcare, and will see medication prices drop to 30 dollars a script, starting from next year.
