Prosecutors in the southern city of Kaohsiung have detained two people suspected of human trafficking. They say at least 22 people were lured to Dubai from Taiwan with the promise of jobs that didn’t exist and were then abused. It’s just the latest case of Taiwanese finding themselves trapped after responding to fake job postings.
