Incessant rains continued to lash parts of Delhi and adjoining areas, leading to waterlogging and traffic woes, disrupting daily lives for more than 48 hours on Friday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted more rains in Delhi-NCR over the weekend. The heavy downpours are a result of two different weather systems converging at the same time in the region, a low-pressure area with a cyclonic circulation and a western disturbance, the Met office said.
