DAP condemns Hadi's 'root of corruption' remark, lodges police report

A police report has been lodged against PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang regarding his recent statement claiming that non-Muslims and non-bumiputeras make up the bulk of the “root of corruption” in the country.
The report was lodged at 12.24pm today by Federal Territories DAP assistant secretary Lee Bing Hong, at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters.
Speaking to Malaysiakini, Lee said Hadi's statement is "very disappointing and must be condemned. It will only create hatred among various races."
