LTO urges local govts. to suspend No Contact Apprehension Policy | News Night

The Land Transportation Office wants local governments in Metro Manila to suspend the implementation of their no contact apprehension policy or NCAP.

NCAP is a system where traffic violations are captured through cameras. Notice of violations are sent to the residence of the registered owner of the vehicle involved.

A lawmaker now wants to look into NCAP, saying it is becoming a source of corruption.
