Group from York (North Yorkshire). Formed from the ruins of the soul-team "Wesley Hardin's Shotgun Package"; received a new name from John Priestley's novel "Angel Street", dedicated to the so-called "psychology of success" phenomenon. The leader is the guitarist Clive Shepherd… Slowly but surely they achieved popularity in their native city; one of the first to use lighting effects and a smoke generator at their concerts. In 1968, the shows of such artists as Geno Washington, "Marmalade", "Status Quo" and "The Move" were opened ... Two singles released on the label "Fontana Records" were to prepare the public for the release of the long-awaited album. And then an unfortunate nuisance happened: the songs failed to rise to the top places of the hit parade, despite the active promotion on the radio. As a result, the musicians ended up on another label - "Bell", who promised to release a third single and an almost finished record. However, even here they did not show due interest in promoting the group, and besides, conflicts began between Clive Shepherd and their long-term producer. As a result of the scandal, relations finally deteriorated, and at the end of 1970, the last concert was given in their homeland, in York .... The found recordings were released in 2003 on vinyl (15 songs) and two years later with the addition of additional materials - on CD (23 songs).
