Grim predictions for Australian economy as IMF cuts global growth expectations

The federal government says an economic downturn across America, Asia and Europe will affect Australia. The international monetary fund has downgraded growth forecasts for the global economy from 3.2 per cent to 2.9 per cent next year amid rising inflation.
