Waterloo — First Battle 1970 (Belgium, Progressive/Jazz Rock)

The only album by the Belgian group, created in October 1969 from the musicians of two disbanded groups - "Adam's Recital" and "Today's Version", who met during a rock festival in Bilzen. The album "First Battle" was released in February 1970. Immediately after the release of the album, the band held a press conference in Brussels, which was shown several times on Belgian television. But, despite such a powerful informational support, only a few thousand copies of the album were printed, which were quickly sold out in Belgium. Throughout the year, the group actively performed in continental Europe, and its popularity gradually grew. In September 1970 the band released a single with new material, and in November participated in the prestigious Ghent Festival together with The Greatest Show On Earth, Fynn McCool, Stray, Judas Jump, Belgian groups Captain Bismarck, Carriage Company, Recreation, Jenghis Khan and Americans Van And Gayle. But the group no longer released full-length studio works. In early 1972, the musicians decided to disperse in order to continue working in other bands. Guitarist Gus Roan joined the more commercial group "New Inspiration", and the rest of the musicians decided to continue working together, thanks to which the group "Pazop" was born ...
