AIMIM MP Imtiyaz Jaleel of Maharashtra's Aurangabad has urged the residents to protest over the decision of renaming the district as Sambhajinagar. The decision was taken by the previous Maharashtra government led by Uddhav Thackeray in the last meeting of the cabinet.

Jaleel claimed that inaction against the renaming will be questioned by future generations. He further urged those who are willing to take on a legal battle against the renaming decision, to go ahead and join hands.
