The fifth edition of the India Today Conclave East kicked off on Monday, July 4 with renowned leaders and personalities from across the fields gracing the platform and exchanging ideas. TMC's Sushmita Dev, BJP MLA from Manipur, Rajkumar Imo Singh and  Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma, TIPRA chief were panelists at the session titled “POLITICAL CHESSBOARD: The Driving Force: Performance vs Polarisation”. While TMC's Sushmita Dev said polarisation is the harsh reality of Indian politics and it plays an important role in electoral politics, the BJP MLA refuted the claims and said performance is crucial to scoring an electoral win.
