Manipur CM N Biren Singh has described this incident as very sad. He said that 18 injured and 25 bodies have been recovered after the landslide.

मणिपुर के नोनी जिले में हुए लैंडस्लाइड में जान गंवाने वालों की संख्या 25 हो गई है. एक रेलवे निर्माण स्थल पर लैंडस्लाइड हुआ था. जिसके बाद रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन शुरू किया गया था. इस घटना को मणिपुर के सीएम एन बिरेन सिंह ने काफी दुखद बताया है. उन्होंने बताया कि लैंडस्लाइड के बाद 18 घायलों और 25 शवों को बरामद किया जा चुका है.
