The Maharashtra state BJP core committee was held at Devendra Fadnavis’ residence on Monday.
Sources said that the party leadership asked BJP workers to be on standby as they would be needed to go to the airport and welcome rebel MLAs when they return.
Meanwhile, Aditya Thackeray who is the only Shiv Sena MLA left in Uddhav Thackeray's cabinet challenged the rebel MLAs to a floor test.
