The Indian diaspora in Germany gave a warm welcome to Prime Minister Modi and celebrated his arrival in Munich on Sunday. He is on a two-day visit to Germany to attend the G7 summit on June 26 and 27.

He is likely to speak in two sessions at the G7 summit that comprise issues like the environment, food security, health, gender equality and democracy. As per a release by the MEA, PM Modi will also hold bilateral meetings with leaders of some of the G7 countries on the sidelines of the summit.

He was invited to the summit by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
