Due to the ruckus over the new scheme of recruitment in the army, Agneepath, the Indian Railways, which is called the life-line of the transport sector in the country, has suffered crores. It is being told that the manner in which the railways were targeted during this nuisance, the way railway trains and railway stations were targeted and due to which many trains had to be canceled and passengers' tickets were refunded. There is a possibility of loss of more than one thousand crore rupees to the railways.

सेना में भर्ती की नई स्कीम अग्निपथ को लेकर मचे बवाल ने, देश में परिवहन क्षेत्र की लाइफ-लाइन कहे जाने वाले भारतीय रेलवे को करोड़ों की चपत लगी है। बताया जा रहा है, कि इस उपद्रव के दौरान रेलवे को जिस ढंग से निशाना बनाया गया, जिस तरह से रेल गाड़ियों और रेलवे स्टेशनों को निशाना बनाया गया और जिसकी वजह से कई ट्रेनें रद्द करनी पड़ीं और यात्रियों के टिकट का रिफंड किया गया, उससे रेलवे को लगभग एक हज़ार करोड़ रुपये से ज़्यादा का नुकसान होने की संभावना जताई जा रही है।
