There was a tremendous uproar in Bihar over the Agneepath scheme, a new scheme of army recruitment, where a furious mob targeted dozens of stations, burnt the train, then their anger also broke out at the BJP office. On the other hand, reports of youth demonstrations came to light from some other states including Haryana. This boiling of the youth shows that they did not like this plan of the government to recruit them in the army. In such a situation, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also attacked the government regarding this.

सेना में भर्ती की एक नई स्कीम अग्निपथ योजना पर बिहार में ज़बरदस्त हंगामा देखने को मिला, यहां उग्र भीड़ ने दर्जनों स्टेशनों को निशाना बनाया ट्रेन फूंक दी, तो उनका गुस्सा बीजेपी कार्यालय पर भी फूटा। उधर हरियाणा समेत कुछ दूसरे राज्यों से भी युवाओं के प्रदर्शनों की खबरें सामने आईं। युवाओं का ये उबाल ज़ाहिर करता है, कि उन्हें सेना में भर्ती की सरकार की ये योजना रास नहीं आई। ऐसे में कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी भी इसे लेकर सरकार पर हमलावर हुए हैं।
