The federal government says Australia’s energy market operator is working hard to ensure reliable power supplies are available in Queensland and New South Wales. The operator was forced to use emergency powers to direct generators to pump more electricity into the network yesterday, over fears of a supply shortfall. It's issued another warning today for Queensland and New South Wales.
