After protests broke out across 8 states in India over suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma’s remarks on Prophet Mohammad, the PFI chairman has now said that these agitations would continue until strict action is taken against the suspended BJP leaders.

Delhi Police is currently probing whether the protests happened spontaneously or whether there was a conspiracy and the protests were orchestrated. Police are also investigating whether the call for a pan-India protest was stoked through social media.
