Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, a close aide of gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for Sidhu Moose Wala's murder, hours after the singer was shot in Punjab's Mansa district.

The DGP of Punjab Police said Sidhu's murder was due to a possible gang rivalry after Goldy Brar's claim.

Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district on Sunday, May 29. The incident came a day after the Punjab Police withdrew security of 424 people, including Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
