Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who was arrested in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs case in October last year, was given a clean chit by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on May 27. The probe agency indicated that it wasn't able to gather sufficient evidence against Aryan after which his name was excluded from the chargesheet filed by the agency.

The NCB chargesheet listed several points why Aryan Khan was given a clean chit in the case. The NCB said it is possible that the probe officer in the case was motivated to implicate Aryan Khan. It also said proper procedure was not followed during the investigation.
