The Bangkok governor should serve not just residents in the city today but also the next generation.
Jon F Kapp has lived in Bangkok for almost 24years and worked for the United Nations as well as non-profit educational organisations. His travels across the globe have taken him to as many as 60 countries and their capitals. But for Jon, there is no country or place like Bangkok. He says Thailand feels like home. However, there is a unique dilemma. Jon doesn’t have the right to vote in the upcoming governor election, but he would like to see the city change and grow for the better. He believes everyone should gain from progress – not just the present generation but also those that follow. So, he feels, we need to start improving things now.
