'True courage is on display in this intriguing video shared by Christina Balleza.
The intense clip features a brave seven-year-old boy fending off his pet pup and cat in order to protect a bird anxiously flying all over the place.
"My son got birds for his birthday," the filmer said. "The problem surfaced when our 'fatcat' knocked the cage off the dresser, causing one of the birds to get loose. My daughter ran in to see the commotion and freaked out on seeing the dog and the cat trying to get the bird.
"And then, her baby brother ran in and went into survival mode. He swatted off the 'fatcat' and the dog. He was determined that she was his baby bird and saved her. All animals are alive and well!"
