The economic plight of Sri Lanka is making headlines all over the world these days. Here the people are helpless and on the streets, in the hope that someone will hear their plea and the country's derailed economy will be back on track once again. Meanwhile, the opposition is preparing to bring a no-confidence motion against the Rajapaksa government in the House. There is also anger among the leaders of the opposition regarding this. Former Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has also slammed the Rajapakse government for its wrong policies.

श्रीलंका की आर्थिक दुर्दशा इन दिनों पूरी दुनिया की सुर्खियां बटोर रहा है.. यहां जनता बेहार है और सड़कों पर है, इस आस में, कि उनकी गुहार कोी सुने और देश की बे-पटरी अर्थव्यवस्था को एक बार फिर से पटरी पर आ जाए। इस बीच विपक्ष सदन में राजपक्षे सरकार के खिलाफ अविश्वास प्रस्ताव लाने की तैयारी में है। इसे लेकर विपक्ष के नेताओँ में भी रोष नज़र आ रहा है। श्रीलंका के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री रानिल विक्रमासिंघे ने भी राजपक्षे सरकार की गलत नीतियों को लेकर उसे जन कर आड़े हाथ लिया है।
